Globe VHS Proudly Supports Child Bereavement UK with Christmas Tree Recycling Collection 2026
At Globe Vehicle Hire & Sales, giving back to the local community in and around Marlow is a core part of who we are. This January, we’re incredibly proud to be supporting Child Bereavement UK by volunteering our vans and time to help deliver their Christmas Tree Recycling Collection 2026 across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
This fantastic initiative not only helps families responsibly recycle their Christmas trees, but more importantly, raises vital funds to support children and families navigating the heartbreak of bereavement.
Supporting a Cause That Truly Matters
Child Bereavement UK provides essential support to children and young people who have experienced the death of someone close to them, as well as guidance for families and professionals. By volunteering for this year’s collection, Globe VHS is honoured to play a small part in helping the charity continue its life-changing work.
Every tree collected represents a donation already made online by local residents – turning a simple post-Christmas task into meaningful support for families when they need it most.
Our Role on the Day
Globe VHS is providing vans and support to help transport collected trees from homes across Bucks and Berks back to the central depot, where they will be chipped and responsibly recycled.
Residents who registered for the service have been asked to leave their trees at the end of their driveway by 8am on Thursday 8 January, making it as smooth and efficient as possible for the volunteer teams.
To streamline the process, volunteers will use a simple app that:

Shows assigned collection routes

Allows locations to be ticked off as each tree is collected
Full training will be provided on the day, and paper route maps will also be available. Registration details for the app will be shared separately in advance.
