Van hire for the Marlow Santa Fun Run
The Marlow Rotary Santa Fun Run took place on the 4th of December 2022 in Higginson Park, Marlow, for the 18th year running! The team at Globe VHS are very proud to have volunteered and supported this local event with van hire.
There were almost 3000 Santa’s running in this event and about 200 volunteers helping marshal the course and assist in the park with running stalls and supporting all the runners. They managed to set the record this year with the charity pool worth £8000 attracting 33 charity team entries. The charity pool will be distributed to all teams who raised more than the scheme threshold of £50 or £500 for their chosen charities.
We provided a van free of charge to help with transporting all the equipment and supplies needed to set up and run this event. This year the current total amount raised is over £50,000 which is another new record! All the money raised will be donated to several charities including One Can Trust and Marlow United Charities and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful local event.
The Marlow Rotary Club
The Marlow Rotary Club is an amazing network of local volunteers dedicated to funding and supporting local charities, events, and the community. They also work with European clubs to support international projects in developing countries to improve other communities across the world.
